Black Tennessee Walker. Four years of age. Was used for trail riding we are told. I have ridden this horse and from what I could see he needs training. Must be ridden with two hands as he obviously wasn’t trained to neck reign.
Very head shy was the only negative we have found on him. He blankets well accepts fly spray.
He is registered and we are waiting on issuing tax receipt till they give us the registration papers.
He is too thin still ! He has gained some weight while here, but not near enough yet. He was literally bones when he got here.
He has never offered to kick or displayed any other aggressive behaviors when he has been handled here, save one: except for his head he will try to get away from you when being bridled my guess is he was eared down by some one in ignorance and that issue would have to addressed immediately!
For someone who is willing to put time on him and go on and finish him out, I believe he would make a nice horse.
So my guess is he may have actually been ridden some on trials as I was  told . Usually what they say is not always true. He was owned by two professionals who parted ways and they were put to pasture for one year with no real care and he was extremely thin when he got here.
His legs do not have any scars so he should check out to be sound from what I have observed in the round pen and pasture. He baths well and handles fly spray and blanketing fine.

Hay, minerals, fat, and care donated by us The Hiding Place Ranch. If interested please request adoption forms and ask for a date to look at this horse.
