TUMPOT is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization funded solely by its members and private donation. We currently receive no state or federal funding. TUMPOT exists because of the dedication of its executive board who all volunteer their time and energy to this important resource. Our time and energy are exerted solely to educate and better equip the law enforcement agencies and their affiliates so that they may in turn better serve their communities. All donations made to TUMPOT are tax-deductible and greatly appreciated. Won’t you help us serve those who serve you.
TUMPOT is not a Horse Rescue facility. However, we have been taking in horses that no other organization will take, for over ten years now. Usually these animals are wild, untrained, untouched, or have shown behavioral problems that other trainers could not fix. TUMPOT has not had one horse go out for adoption that was not what we said their capabilities were. Each director is responsible to pay all expense for the adoption animals. After fees and cost run up to 450.00, we take the loss on all monies spent afterwards. Which comes pretty quickly when you understand these horses have not adequate care in many years. Or perhaps have never been cared for at all. TUMPOT’s Directors however do not have the resources to fund these animals indefinitely. We have in the past years adopted numerous horses and currently have some available for adoption. If you are interested in adopting a horse from TUMPOT please contact our office for information on horses available, adoption requirements and fees.
